  • Pumpkins Aren't Just for Carving

You are welcome to bring your own carving tools and carve away to your heart's content, but there are other ways to enjoy pumpkins besides carving them. Roasted pumpkin seeds, for example, make a delicious and healthy snack. Make pies, soups,  jack-o-lanterns, bread, and so much more. Simply put, pumpkins are versatile and there are endless ways to enjoy them.

  • A Place for Learning

When we connect real-life experiences with what we learn in the classroom, the result is a well-rounded education. Especially, kids, they learn best when they can see, touch, and experience things for themselves.

A trip to the pumpkin patch is an excellent yet exciting way to learn about farming, the process of how pumpkins grow, and where our food comes from. They'll be amazed at all the different sizes, shapes, and colors of pumpkins and will have a blast picking out their own personal pumpkin to take home.

Having fun and making the most out of your trip is essential, but learning something new is an added bonus. At Isham Family Farm, we take pride in being able to provide a place for families to learn about Vermont's history and agriculture.

Kids can have pumpkin painting contests, feed the animals, explore the corn maze, and take a hayride around the farm. It is all about being able to provide a fun and educational experience for children. And, of course, adults can enjoy themselves too.
