At the Isham Family Farm this spring the maple sugaring season started slow, Mother Nature did not really cooperate until April 1st.. During the first 2 weeks of Aoril we were right out straight boiling 3-4 times per week. The flavor of the maple syrup was fantastic this year. Made lots of medium amber and dark amber maple syrup. The Maple Store is now open and shipping maple syrup country wide. Following the sugar house clean up the Isham Farm will be planting 1500 Christmas trees and 1000 new raspberry shoots in the first week of May. I have already received pumpkin and corn seed, ordered 50 new baby chicks. Spring has sprung !!
