End of blueberries and start of fall raspberries

It was a great summer for blueberry picking. Its now winding down and only one variety left still ripening. Still a few left on the last few rows as well, not easy picking like it was just a week ago.

I have 7 rows of fall raspberries, 2 different varieties. One variety has been ripening the past week, mornings are the best time for picking. The other variety is loaded with green ones and another week and it should be the best fall ever for raspberry picking !! Raspberries continue to ripen thru October.

I have sweet corn for sale in front of the barn. Should be good sweet corn for at least another 2 weeks. The hot weather has also been good for the pumpkins. Starting later in September I will have PYO pumpkins and free wagon rides most Saturday and Sunday afternoons. That’s the farms was of saying Thank You for supporting local agriculture. Without our customers help local farms would not be able to survive..

The baby calves are now eating the day old sweet corn and the chickens are enjoying the old sweet corn as well. Open 7 days a week, 8am until dusk everyday. The sunflower maze is now Open and the Corn Maze will be opening sometime the first week of September. Sunflower maze is always free, corn maze is $2 child, $5 adult or $10 per family.
